The sofa coach was fine for two small children but definitely could not be used for adults. A cushions had some heavy stains. One of the poofs in the unit was torn and little white foam beads kept showing up. Finally realized where they were coming from.

Very Disappointing

Here is the list:
1 Upon arrival we walked into a missing washer/dryer. The space was very dirty with old lint on the walls.
2.We walked into the kitchen, turned the overhead light on, it flickered and went out.
3. That same evening we had to 3 large roaches visit us, one of them was on the ceiling, so we had to dispose of those.
4. All of the area rugs edges were worn and turned up, we tripped several times just moving around the condo.
5. The mattress in the MB had to be the worst mattress we have ever experienced. It was so soft, if you pushed down with your hand, it would sink 6-10 inches. I had to move to the couch because of horrible back pain.
6. The pots and pans were very worn and looked mistreated. We actually like to cook while on vacation.
The management tried to help with a few of the issues. They sent an electrician (loose connection, potential fire hazard) and an exterminator, which we had to come from the beach and meet to get these repairs and bug guy, very inconvenient. They did offer a laundry service, but that was a little weird sending off your clothes to washed with telling who knows.
Anyway, the condo was a terrible disappointment.

The property was nice, clean, was in a good location and served our purpose. The beach was super close and the pool was right outside the back patio. Overall it was a good stay. We were disappointed that only four towels were available, which was not enough for a beach property (even for two people). We were also disappointed that there were beach chairs for the unit but they were locked with a bike lock right outside the front door and the management company said we were not allowed to access them.

Great beach condo

Condominium was very nice. If you're looking for luxury this is probably not what you're looking for. If practicality and economy are your goals this place is as good as it gets.
With that said, the only problem that we had was that the washer didn't work and the dryer worked very slowly. We didn't call about the washer because we decided to do our laundry at home.

Dune Villas 6A-Fun Stay in April.

This is a great unit-nice decor, quality effort made! We loved being close to the pool & great access to the Beach. All the amenities provided were good quality & plentiful. The bathroom is small but worked for 2 people. The maintenance issues we had were handled efficiently & with a sunny attitude!. Great service by Nicole & Randy. Thank You! The sliding shutter doors were great to take care of the curtains not covering the patio doors at night. Need to update pics to show that change. Great King size bed, but mattress so soft, you fall into it. We have been staying in Seagrove for 20 years in several different condos & rate this the best! The unit does need a thorough cleaning. I am sure we will be back as soon as we can & Thank You to the owners for the care you used to give the unit personality!

Pool View vs. Oceah/Beach View

I've stayed at Dune Villas twice. First time, ocean/beach view. First floor near the beach access. Too busy. This past visit, chose a pool view, first floor. If I stay here again, I believe I will look for one of the upper level beach/ocean view units. Otherwise, I really liked the decor of the unit. It was comfortable and that's what I was looking for. I still don't understand the whole "no beach chair service thing", though.

Excellent Beach Trip

Very nice and cute condo. Right by the pool and very easy walk to beach. Clean and plenty of kitchen supplies (besides I may would add another large casserole dish) and extra covers for the sofa bed. We would definitely come back to this exact condo.

Excellent Thanksgiving on 30A!

This was our first stay at Dune Villas and, I believe, also using Benchmark Management. The process was smooth and Unit 6A met all our needs and we enjoyed a great, last-minute Thanksgiving getaway. We also hit the jackpot with the weather on Thanksgiving Day; 75 degrees and very few clouds. Dune Villas is a nice, smaller condo complex that is well located along 30A, just a little East of 30A’s intersection with County Highway 395, so it’s near it all!
The actual unit certainly met our needs. The abundance of hanging hooks throughout the unit was a nice touch. Often that is a shortcoming of rental units.
We only encountered 3 small things that should be addressed:
The bedroom mattress is bad; it gives in many places and just allows you to sink in. I understand that mattresses are subjective, but an investment here with something newer and firmer would pay good dividends.
The curtains for the 2 sliding glass doors allow a nice view of the patio and the pool, but there are 3 curtain rods, instead of 2, which does not allow the curtains to be fully closed at night. I would suggest 2 curtain rods and the addition of another panel of curtains so that evening privacy can be assured. As you can see in the initial photo for Unit 6A, the curtains are attractive, and the boat paddles provide an aquatic feel.
This final issue has more than likely been fixed as it was a maintenance issue, but not bothersome enough to worry the rental agency with, especially over the Thanksgiving holiday. There was a small pendant-type light that was up over the sink. It had slipped out of its receptacle and was dangling a few inches down by its wires. Nothing dangerous as it was well above your head, just unsightly.
As for the Property Management Company, I gave them 5/5 stars as we really had no direct interaction with them. All their email correspondence was straight forward and the iOS app they recommended was useful and con

Lovely Spot to Stay on 30A

We've stayed on 30A several times, but never on the Gulf Side, and I'm so glad that we did! The convince of being steps away from the beach was amazing! Great location, great little condo. Had plenty of towels for showering. Our one complaint was that there were several signs around the condo talking about the importance of washing your hands right now during COVID-19, however, there was no handsoap provided at the property. Be sure to bring your own or grab some at the Publix that's less than 10 minutes away.

This was our first time to Seagrove Beach and first time back to 30-A in about 20 years. Condo unit was awesome. Everything was clean, new, with modern decor. This is first condo unit that I’ve stayed where there was plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking items, wash rags and towels. It even had both coffee pot and Keurig. Pool was right out the door. Walk to beach and to the gulf water was amazingly short, which made the 40+ steps up and down to beach very manageable. Beach was clean, family friendly (I didn’t see any drunk people or hear any cussing like I have in other places on the gulf). Also a dog friendly beach as we encountered several well behaved family pets. Water was also awesome with a sand bar close to swim out to. I was concerned about the dark spots in the water thinking it was seaweed, until someone told me this was from tree roots from former grove of trees, thus the name “Seagrove”. These were awesome to snorkel around and saw several different kinds of fish. Close to Destin and PCB shopping.

One thing I'd like to note is that when folks have their dogs on the beach, Walton County does only give pet permits to locals that have gone through the county system! If you're a renter looking to come to the beach, at this time it isn't possible for guests to bring dogs to the beach. Just wanted to let folks reading know this. :-) We look forward to seeing you again for another fun snorkeling time around our groves!
