Make your dream vacation a reality at this refreshed and updated 30A beach retreat, Green Eggs and Ham! This 5-bedroom home is tucked within the private gated community of Water's Edge in Seacrest Beach (next to Rosemary) and offers every amenity imaginable.

Relax by the private pool after a day on the beach. This home is beautifully designed with modern updates coastal touches throughout and beautiful hardwood floors.

Savor the joys of outdoor dining by the poolside after whipping up a delectable meal in the gourmet kitchen. Alternatively, relish the conviviality of the open-concept living and dining area indoors. With ample space for all, this beach home invites relaxation and togetherness. Catch glimpses of the Gulf from the balcony on the third floor, offering a serene backdrop for moments of reflection. Additionally, the third floor doubles as a cozy second retreat, complete with a sleeper sofa and wet bar, providing the perfect sanctuary for unwinding after a day of coastal adventures.

Sleeping Arrangements:
1st Floor, Bedroom 1: Queen bed, TV. Private bathroom with shower.
1st Floor, Living Area: Sofa pulls out to a queen bed.
2nd Floor, Bedroom 2: King bed, TV, private balcony. Private bathroom with large shower and dual sinks.
2nd Floor, Bedroom 3: Queen bed, TV.
2nd Floor, Bedroom 4: Twin-over-full bunk bed, twin trundle, TV and private balcony.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with dual sinks and tub/shower combo.
3rd Floor, Bedroom 5: 2nd entertaining/sleeping space with sleeper sofa, TV, wet bar and bathroom with tub/shower combo.
The balcony features Gulf and 30A views.

Beach Access:
From the front of the home, head south on Geoff Wilder lane as it curves around to the left and after a few more steps, you'll find your beach boardwalk (accessible via the provided wristbands).
Distance: 500 feet | Time: 2 minutes walking

Water's Edge:
You'll love the close proximity of Rosemary Beach immediately to the east, and Alys Beach just a short walk to the west for dining and local activities. The bike and walking trail along 30A is conveniently located right outside Water's Edge gate.

* Complimentary 2 bikes and 1 beach setup (2 chairs + umbrella) March 1 -Thanksgiving week (weather permitting).
Waiver to be emailed for signature.
* Parking for 3 cars.
* Sorry, no pets are allowed.

An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

A nice rental in a great location! The home is clean and the property Management is super friendly and very responsive if you have any questions. The beach is just out your back gate and a few steps down a brick path and well lit in the evening. Just outside the gated area you are steps into Rosemary beach downtown to your right or a short walk to Alys beach to your left. Across the street is several places to eat, shop, drink and a small grocery store. Places we enjoyed, Big Bad Breakfast, Canopy Road Cafe, Fonville Press market and cafe, Havana Beach Bar and Grill, Great Southern Cafe, La Crema Tapas, Citizen and Lola Coastal Italian. So many more places we wanted to try! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Great rental with minutes walk to private beach and town.

Overall, the home was great and my family enjoyed our stay immensely. Very spacious. Tastefully decorated and updated. My kids (3 & 5) loved the pool and the outdoor space was one of the largest we noticed in the neighborhood. The gated neighborhood itself was amazing. Private beach access was very cool and the umbrella and chairs that were set up for us each day was icing on the cake.

Two items worth noting that could use improvement.

1. The house was pretty dirty when we arrived. The maid service did not wipe down interior surfaces, including railings. There were beer bottle caps under beds and furniture that my toddlers kept finding. The pool water level was very low and not cleaned.

2. Both queen beds (first and second level) were incredibly uncomfortable and the mattresses were wavy. After inspecting both, it appears the bed frames (same make) were not assembled properly and/or were missing a box spring. The bed frames only had four very thin slats that the mattresses sat upon directly. Either they need more slats or the frame was intended to have a box spring (more likely box spring).

It was awesome! The house was fabulous for our large group. There were a few small issues when we arrived (garbage disposal didn't want to cooperate), but the management company was on it!

Happy Place on 30-A

We have been staying at Green Eggs and Ham since 2012. The home works beautifully for our family of 11. I am thankful we can walk to the beach rather than rely on a shuttle. Being able to walk to restaurants and shops is also a plus. This home is our "Happy Place".

Perfect Location

We loved our recent stay at Green Eggs and Ham with our kids and grandkids, and we hope to return. This is not a sterile, fancy beach house, but rather a cozy inviting home that offers comfortable family living. We were pleased to find that in the bunk room, there is a pull-out trundle bed in addition to the double bed and bunk. The location of this home is fantastic—if you wanted, you could park your car upon arrival and not get in it again until you leave. The gate in the backyard leads to a walkway. If you go left, the beach is only a two- or three-minute walk away. If you go right out of the backyard, you are only about five minute walk from a charming town center that has restaurants, ice cream shops, sundries, and a vibrant town square that was featuring live music every night when we were there. You can walk along the beach and eat at Crabby Steve’s, a very enjoyable grill overlooking the ocean. The only con associated with this home stems from the fact that it’s a Sunday-Sunday rental: La Dolce Vita is the company that manages the beach set-ups for the Water’s Edge beach, and we were put on the second row of beach chairs. The attendant told me that the Saturday-arrival renters had requested all the first row seats, and three of the Sunday renters had come down on Saturday before he left at 5 to request first row seating for the coming week. It didn’t seem fair to me that there wasn’t a rotation during the week of who got the best seats, but that was the policy. Wish I had known that beforehand. Our best day on the beach was Saturday because the Saturday-Saturday renters had left, and there was hardly anyone at the beach. We had fabulous first-row seating

Amazing Get-A-Away!!! Prefect location.

This was the prefect house for our family of 10 (5 adults/5children). The short walk to the beach was prefect for everyone to be able to carry their own things plus having a backyard pool was A+ For the kiddos. The short walk to the Shops was prefect for the adults as well. The only thing I wish was different was bigger beds in each of the rooms. Sleeping two adults was a little cramped but nothing we couldn’t handle to stay in this beautiful place. We are already planning for next year!

Great location and accommodation

We had wonderful time at green eggs and ham. It was a beautiful community, close to the beach, close to town, and lots of space to stretch. We also really enjoyed having the pool to use and the addition of beach chairs & umbrella set up each day and the bike rentals. It was a great week!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Green Eggs & Ham was a great location spot for our family. To be on the beach side of 30A in a gated community made for a relaxing vacation. The house was in wonderful condition with modern updates. The pool on property was a great option when we needed a break from the beautiful beaches. (Please note that there is an alarm that will go off when the back door leading to the pool is open -- this was obviously a safety issue, however not having small children made it a bit annoying to have to silence the alarm every time someone went in and out of the door. Maybe having a gate off the back porch would eliminate the need for the alarm? I don't know).

We loved the Waters Edge community and would stay in any of the homes for our next vacation. Wonderful management company to work thru and the app they used to locate code and house information was a nice touch.

This was our 4th year to vacation at Green Eggs and Ham! It works beautifully for our family of 11. We enjoy the convenience to the beach, walking to shops and restaurants, bike rentals, etc. Most likely will plan on a 5th trip in the future. It is “my happy place”.
