Our Favorite Ways to Celebrate Mom On 30A

Mother’s Day is a month away. What plans have you made to celebrate this special lady? We suggest a trip to the beautiful beaches of 30A. Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate Mom on her special day.

If Mom can use a little rest and relaxation, there’s nothing more therapeutic than the beaches of 30A. The views of the emerald-green waters glistening under a big blue sky and yellow sun are breathtaking. Mom can sit back in a beach chair with her toes in the powder white sand listening to the sounds of the sea. This is pure serenity and exactly what our hard-working Moms deserve.

If your Mom prefers to hit the town for a little fun, then we’ve got some great festivals lined up for Mother’s Day Weekend. Tequila and Taco Fest takes place at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Saturday, May 7^th from 1-4 PM. Sample many types of tequilas and margaritas while chowing down on some of the area’s best tacos. On the same day from 3-6:30 PM Seaside invites you to Down & Derby Fest. The event includes a silent auction, live music, delicious food from local restaurants, crafted cocktails, and a live showing of the Kentucky Derby Race. Whether Mom’s in the mood for tacos or ready for the Derby sporting a big hat, 30A provides it all!

Here's one of our favorite ways to celebrate Mom on 30A. Brunch at her favorite restaurant Fish Out of Water with live music and incredible Gulf views. Then off to ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival at Grand Boulevard where you can browse original pieces from over 200 artists from around the world. Pop into Wine World to purchase a bottle of Mom’s favorite bubbly and head to the beach. Then end the evening with a toast to a perfect sunset and an amazing woman, Mom!

Now with all these fun options to celebrate Mom where will you stay? Maybe a quaint little condo right on the beach. Perhaps a roomy beach house to celebrate several generations of Mothers.
