Why You Need a 30A Vacation

Since the Gulf Coast is one of the top vacation spots in the country, you might not need much coaxing to come here. Besides the fact that most of us love a getaway, there are plenty of reasons why traveling is good for your health.

Your day to day workload can be overwhelming. When you’re stuck in a rut just going through the motions, your work can be lacking. Getting some time off is a great way to clear your mind. Enjoying a nice break before going back to work can boost productivity. Take a little reset and resume work energized for new projects.

Some become so busy with their day to day routine that their closest relationships suffer. When you give your all during the day, you don’t have much left for friends and family. Book a 30A vacation rental to accommodate your whole crew and enjoy quality time in a beautiful area. Spend a lazy day at the beach, explore the coast, or book a boating adventure and get back on track with the people you love.

Stress is something that most of us can’t escape. Between work, finances, and family, there’s always something in the back of our mind we worry about. Stress can contribute to heart disease and high blood pressure among other problems. Having some time away from your obligations can relieve stress and help you relax.

Have you ever wondered why you instantly feel better when you get to the beach? According to best-selling author and marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols, just being close to a body of water promotes mental health and happiness. His book “Blue Mind” is named after the term used to describe the mildly meditative state we fall into when we are near or in water. The Emerald Coast got its nickname from the Emerald blue-green water that glistens when you look out into the miles of waves. It’s not just a feeling, the beach does actually improve your mood.

If you’re still on the fence on whether to take the vacation, consider all the benefits. Don’t work so hard without ever rewarding yourself. Life is short, take the vacation!
