Families Love 30A!

School is about to let out and summer vacation will soon begin. Many of us have fond memories of family trips during the summer and some of those include beautiful beaches. The Gulf Coast is an ideal location for a summer vacation because families love 30A! Here are some of the best things for families to enjoy in the 30A and nearby areas.

The beach is at the top of our list. This area is one of the top vacation destinations in the country! Miles of sugar white sand, gorgeous blue-green water, and warm weather make it easy to love. Besides enjoying the sunny days swimming in the Gulf, there are lots of water sports to take advantage of. Paddleboards, surfboards, jet skis, and kite boards are available for rental. You could even get a bird’s eye view while parasailing over the water.

The charming Seaside area offers outdoor movies throughout the summer. After a nice beach day, you can grab some dinner and ice cream in Seaside’s Central Square and spread out a blanket for movie time. Each Friday night at 8pm the whole crew can enjoy family-friendly movies under the stars. On Wednesday evenings there will be live entertainment with the Seaside Summer Concert Series.

Raw & Juicy was previously located in Seaside and opens this weekend in Alys Beach. It’s a perfect spot to grab coffee and breakfast with fresh-pressed juice and delicious goodies. Besides a variety of tasty options, they have a playground outside that kids of all ages will love. Swings, slides, and huge hills make it one of the most fun spots to play in Alys Beach. You can pull up a chair in the shaded patio and let the kids get their energy out at the playground. 

The Hub on 30A is a great place to cool off with a sweet treat and let the kids play. Grab some grub from one of the several restaurants and enjoy a nice breeze outside. On select nights, you can catch a movie on the big screen outside or live music with outdoor concerts. Great food and great company will make it an awesome day.
