Things to do this Spring on 30A

It’s time to thaw out on the Emerald Coast! That’s enough of the cold weather, we are dreaming of the spring season. Head over to the amazing Black Bear Bread Company and enjoy coffee or lunch on the patio. Take in the crisp, spring air with a delicious spread of fresh-baked bread, cinnamon rolls, sandwiches, and soup. They proudly serve Stumptown Coffee and have a great selection of beer and Kombucha. You will not be disappointed! 

Take a bike ride through Grayton Beach. If you don’t have your own bike with you, there are a number of rental places in the area to provide you with just what you need for a scenic ride. Enjoy a rooftop dinner. You can get some of the best views around a 30A rooftop. Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar offers coastal cuisine, a full bar, and panoramic beach views from the roof. Live music is enjoyed daily inside the bar area. 723 Whiskey Bravo is another great spot with a rooftop view. This Seagrove Beach hot spot also offers a fabulous Happy Hour with cocktails and specialty entrees.

Check out the Artists at Gulf Place. This little area of Gulf Place features the art of local 30A artists displaying a wide variety of gems including photography, pottery, jewelry, acrylics, and more! The galleries are open 7 days a week and have art classes during select time as well as a Wine Walk every third Thursday. Get inspired yourself or purchase some local art as a 30A memento!

Explore Seaside. The charming area of Seaside has much to offer and it’s even more enjoyable during perfect weather. Take a walk around Seaside Central Square and explore the unique shops and restaurants. Grab a delicious sandwich at Barefoot BBQ and get dessert at Heavenly’s Shortcakes & Ice Cream. Browse the books and music selection at Sundog Books, Seaside’s beloved independent book store that’s been here for over 30 years! Seaside also has outdoor movies, concerts, and farmers markets throughout the year.
