30A Beach Access

You’ve finally made it to the summer vacation destination of your dreams. Welcome to the beautiful white sand beaches of 30A! Whether you’re in walking distance or a short drive away, here’s a few helpful tips to make getting to the beach easy.

Public beach accesses are conveniently placed throughout 30A. Our first beach town is Dune Allen. The public beach access is located on Scenic 30A about 2 miles west of the Scenic 393 intersection at Gulf Place. Dune Allen access is ADA accessible, and has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season.

Heading East down 30A we come to Ed Walline Park at Gulf Place. This public beach access has restroom facilities, parking, two picnic pavilions, a ramp winding down to the beach making it handicap accessible and beach wheelchairs.  There is a one-story observation deck overlooking the beach and gulf that’s perfect for watching surfers and spotting dolphin. It is also located right across from Gulf Place where you can browse outdoor shops and enjoy a bite to eat.

Further down Highway 30A we find Blue Mountain Beach and Grayton Beach. Blue Mountain’s public beach access has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. From Hwy 98 and Hwy 331 head west 1.5 miles then south on Scenic Highway 83 until you cross over Scenic 30A and reach the gulf. Blue Mountain Access is in the heart of Blue Mountain Beach where shopping and dining are within walking distance. Grayton Dunes Access is ADA accessible, has freshwater showers, and parking on the street. It’s located at the end of Garfield Street behind the famous Red Bar Restaurant.

Between WaterColor Resort and the whimsical beach town of Seaside we find Van Ness Butler, Jr. Access. This public beach access is ADA accessible with parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. Parking is on the north side of Scenic 30A, hidden from view. Turn north on Western Lake Drive and then take an immediate right into the parking lot. It’s also within walking distance to fun shops, outdoor concerts and delicious eateries.

Further down 30A we come to Seagrove Beach and Santa Clara Access. An ADA accessible public beach access that has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. It’s located on Scenic 30A, 1/2 mile east of Scenic 395. This public beach access is hidden from view making it less crowded and more private than other public beach accesses.

Our last little beach town of 30A is Inlet Beach. Home of Camp Helen State Park which is bordered on three sides by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. The beach access is a long walk through the park and dunes so be ready for an outdoor adventure. You’ll not only have beach access but lake access as well. There are picnic tables, restrooms and plenty of parking.
