Gulf Place Brings Back Outdoor Concerts

One of the best things about a beach community is all the outdoor events. When the weather is warm, people come together for fun in all sorts of activities. The 30-A area is lucky to have plenty of options to choose from this summer. From Farmers Markets to ArtWalks to outdoor concerts, we have lots to keep us busy.

The Gulf Place shopping center is located on the corner of 30-A and Highway 393 directly across from beach access. The plaza features coffee and ice cream shops, upscale boutiques, a surf shop, pizza place and more. During the summer months, concerts are enjoyed each Sunday at the amphitheater lawn. Among the lineup this year are The Rips, Déjà vu, Continuum, and Still Standing. Bands will play for the public each week between 5-8pm. Guests can bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the free concerts.

Gulf Place also showcases eight art galleries that feature local artists’ work. Unique jewelry, sculptures, pottery, photography, and more are available for purchase. A Wine Walkabout every third Thursday is scheduled from 5-7pm with wine tastings, live music, food and prizes. The Gulf Place community is convenient to 30-A rentals and popular restaurants and shopping.
